For such a small area, Cornwallis base has a lot going on. It hosts Cornwallis Military Museum, a site remembering those who served on the base and overseas.
This tank is memorialized in a rose garden.
The base is also host to the most unsubtle RCMP building in Canada.
It's hard to miss in this community of 435 people.
Even with its quirks, or maybe because of them, I'm going to miss this little place.
It is a really neat community.
