I wanted a recent pic to send the gal I sponsor through Compassion Canada. Luckily I have a few from my Mom's recent visit. This one is taken at Port Royal, a reconstruction of a fort that guarded the coastline before being destroyed by the French in the 1700's.

I also want to encourage you to check out Compassion Canada and consider sponsoring a child. Compassion is one of the most financially transparent sponsorship organizations that I know of. It focuses not only on financial aid for the child you sponsor, but building up the entire community in partnership with local churches. It's a great organization!
