The Eye of the Storm

Sunday's storm knocked my power out. The rain was crazy... felt like I was back in Surrey!

I drove down to the beach. Within moments the rain let up,

and I caught the misty coastline at dusk.

I thought the storm was over, but the calm lasted
barely 5 minutes - I was in the eye of the storm!
I got drenched catching these next two shots before I ran for my car.

Within moments the storm was back in full force - the sky darkened,

lightening flashed around me, and thick fog rolled in.

I love stormy weather! The wildness of the elements inspires and energizes me!
