Late last night I made a resolution.  In the New Year, I am going to make a point of photographing every day.  I'm calling this project Elementyl365.  You'll see mainly impromptu pictures, as well as some planned projects.  Every day will bring something new.

Morning View

I looked outside this morning and saw that yesterday's storm had ended, and dawn was arriving. Everyone else was asleep, including the 8 dogs (I'm visiting my parents). I quietly bundled up, set up my camera and tripod, and headed outside. The dogs heard the front door and started barking. I quickly focused, and was able to get two 30 second exposures off. Just as the shutter clicked shut for the second time, the door opened, and out rushed the dogs! They really wanted to check out my camera, but I made it inside without too much drool.
